
Student Instructional Technology Assistant
The Office of Teaching, Learning and Technology is looking for student workers who can help train faculty with using classroom technology over the summer, with the possibility for longer term employment in the fall.
Student Instructional Technology Assistants learn the technology tools instructors use in class, and assist faculty and staff with technology related projects, research and training.
We encourage students from all majors to apply.
Required Qualifications
· Experience using ICON/Canvas as a student.
- Comfortable learning new technologies.
- Experienced working both independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills in written and public speaking forms.
· Must be enrolled at University of Iowa in good academic standing.
· Must be able to work in different locations on campus, especially Aug 1-22. Some remote work may be considered, determined by department needs and candidate's ability to work from home; must be able to come to campus as required by supervisor.
· Criminal background check will be required for finalists.
